Reportedly, this company's owners previously did business as Nimantics. Nimantics closed it's doors in December of 1997, without notice to existing customers who had sent in systems for warranty repairs or had paid for undelivered orders. Nimantics was rated as having an unsatisfactory business performance record based on our complaint experience. Specifically, a pattern existed in their complaints concerning defective merchandise, failure to issue refunds on returned merchandise, failure to return items sent in for warranty repair or exchange, and an inability to reach the company to resolve problems. Many of the complaints involved computers costing several thousand dollars. Nimantics responded to some complaints by indicating an adjustment had been, or would be made. Customers generally disputed responses by claiming the company had not adjusted the matter, nor had they even attempted to contact them. In many cases, the company failed to respond to the complaints presented at all. The name A S N D is new to our files. To date, no complaints have been processed under that name.
