This company claims to offer a prize or promotion via direct mail soliciting consumers for redemption or processing fees to claim the prize. Processing fees may vary and are usually described or justified by the promotors as an advance tax payment or to cover insurance and delivery costs. Our experience with similar offers has shown these companies commonly use deceptive sales tactics to bilk consumers for millions each year. ~~The company's actual business is soliciting a debit card pre-loaded with variable amounts ranging from a minimum $5 up to a maximum of $10 000. Amounts vary for each card and are revealed once the card is successfully activated. The processing fee of $20.00 is required for handling and processing of the application for the debit card. Additionally the company has advised complainants that the original issuing bank suspended the card issuance program without any prior notice and they have been trying to make arrangements with other suppliers in order to fulfill orders received. ~ ~We caution against sending money to this company or releasing any personal information which would allow access to your bank accounts or credit information. If you have truly won a prize there should be no redemption fees or other conditional rules to comply with in order to actually receive your prize. Watch congratulatory mailers or smooth fast talking friendly callers asking for money. Most responding to similar offers received nothing for their money or a cheap throw away item valued at far less than the redemption price. State and Federal lottery laws prohibit the practice of asking for payment to claim a prize. Remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
