Horrible Work Ethic

Alonso, owner of Ambaaa Electric -- did work at my home. He updated my electrical panel from a 100 amp to a 200 amp. He charged me $800+ (which I found reasonable) cash. He first made a hole in the roof of my master bedroom. He stated he would return to fix it but failed to do so. (I fixed the repair myself which costed $70 dls). 1.5 years later (during inspection of my home) which was under contract and being soled -- the inspector noted that the wiring for the electrical panel was not up to code. I had an electrician come out to evaluate the panel and he advised me that the wires were only capable of managing 100 amps. He advised me that this was a fire hazard. (This costed me $100 for just the evaluation). I contacted Alonso. He guaranteed that his work was up to code and that his work should have never been questioned. The inspection for the sale of my home stated that repairs had to be done, which was okay with me. Alonso failed to show up to my home as promised and ignored my calls. A new electrician came out to my home and charged me $800 dollars. He advised me that the 100 amp wires had begun to melt and that my home could have started on flames at any point due to the overload in electricity. For this reason I am giving Alonso and his company a 1 star review. I would highly advise anyone who is considering him to NOT do it. -A. M.
