Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. AVA Fail to get my money from Veteran Affairs

We completed all of the paperwork and paid nearly $3000 to AVA. My elderly mother was moved to an assisted living facility, and I paid ($4000/mo.) for several months out of pocket for her stay. Well mom passed and AVA said that we would receive back $2800.00 once some additional paperwork was submitted. I send all documents requested and told to expect money in 6 months. We waited months heard nothing, and I made many calls to AVA with no response or return call. During this wait fiber cable was being installed and our internet was down for over 30 days. Eventually, I reached by phone AVA said they later needed a death certificate and had requested me to send by e-mail while we had no internet service. They made no effort to contact me by phone and now implied that Veteran Affairs will not honor my refund. This was a very expensive loss dealing with AVA. I am considering an attorney for their lack of responsibility. AVA is not recommended.
