This is a poorly run pharmacy that takes zero accountability for their delay in getting prescriptions filled.
I have been using Anchor Pharmacy for about 2 years. It is the only pharmacy covered by Lifebridge, so I basically have no other options. As an employee of Carroll Hospital, I am outraged by their services. I take four routine medications, and have had other medications prescribed for illness, etc. It takes them 3-4 days to fill a prescription, and I always try to plan for this severe delay in getting a refill. In this instance, I had my doctor send in a request on Monday, and it is now Thursday. When I called, they hadn't even processed the refill yet, let alone fill it. The lady on the phone had many excuses as to why it wasn't processed, and was very short. I tried calling several other times during the week to check on it, and it's very rare when someone answers. This has been the "norm" for 2 years. I was very close to going to the emergency room, as I was suffering from physical withdrawal from the medication, as I was completely out. I explained this on the phone, and they didn't care. I sent my husband in, and they were only able to fill half of the medication, meaning I need to go back in there? Unacceptable after all I have already been through! Have had many, many, issues with this pharmacy I would list them all if I could! They have nothing but excuses, and even had the pharmacist come out of the back and yell at me one time!!! I was hired to serve the patients of the hospital, and they should treat employees with the same respect. Poor customer service.
