I booked a party 3 weeks+ in advance at Angel Island Fun park. I booked for January 14th 2023, at 2-4pm, with cake, balloons & cupcakes being delivered on This date along with 15 kids & their parents. I paid deposit on date of booking. I called last Friday, the 12th to pay the remaining balance & the lady couldn't find our party she found the error was that the party was booked for January 15th (so Sunday rather the Saturday we had deposited for). She asked if I wanted a refund for the whole party or to come on Sunday. I said "so you want me to just cancel the party with less than 24 hours notice?" I said we will just come on Sunday. No discount offered for scheduling error. Our $119 cake perished due to the date & we had to self deliver plus lost guests due to last minute change. I was going to let this go BUT THEN… at 3:33 pm an older lady who is employed at the venue walked into our room, speaking to our guests first instead of me, & said start cleaning this room is booked now. We got booted out of our $300 party room 30 mins early. They also charged $42 for gripper socks which was not charged last year nor is it in the fine print - the fine print says all inclusive. I am requesting 30 of our party time returned $120, since we did not get to use the room, & $80 for the scheduling error which is more than fair (covers half of cake loss). Also had to stand there while the people waiting for our room stared at us because they also had a scheduling error Resolution Sought Refund of $200.00 I promise to never book or visit this establishment again. I will not post this review to further outlets.
