Business Consumer Alliance has received complaints alleging advance fees paid for loans that never materialize. BCA received word from Atlantic Financial Services in VA to warn the public that an imposter scam is posing as their company
Per Atlantic Financial Services: "We have been made aware that someone is using our company's name in a scam. They call or email someone tell them we have approved them for a loan, obtain their bank account information and tell them the loan proceeds will be deposited into their account. This is not Atlantic Financial Services making these solicitations. We have been advising callers to visit www.usa.gov/stop-scams-fraudsitem-35157 to report this activity."
