Blue Cross Insurance and myself were on the line for over 1 hour trying to get my medical records faxed to Blue Cross to pay for my surgical claim. We were sent back and forth between claims and medical records a few times but no one could make a determination if the medical records were sent or in what fashion. We kept being transferred. I have paid $3357 pre payment up front but I am not getting credit for this because insurance cannot process my claim, I am getting other bills from other groups now related to my surgery at Atrium. I don't know if I need to contact an attorney or if is there someone who could assist BlueCross and myself. Resolution Sought Send my medical records to Blue Cross related to the claim filed for my surgery 2-23-24 so this claim can be paid. Atrium will owe me a refund of a percentage of my prepaid amount as I have went past my out of pocket max since I made that payment
