I would like the company to apologize to me and make sure this does not happen again and that they double check their merchandise before putting them

I purchased a bag of sugar that had a price tag of 1.99 but when I came home I looked at my receipt and they charged me 8.49. I went back to the store and notified the manager and she told me her employee made a mistake and I told her she should honor the price on the item because it was false advertisement. She only offered me a refund which I wasn't satisfied with.
