This company was taken over by new management in May of 2002. The complaint experience reflected in this report is based on complaints filed before the ownership change. Since the management change, one customer complaint has been brought to our attention, which was also resolved satisfactorily. Bernard Haldane describes itself as a career counseling service. They provide career guidance, but do not actually contact potential employers or otherwise procure employment for clients. We routinely advise, that you read and understand all contract terms and provisions before making a buying decision. Make sure you have a clear idea of exactly what services the written agreement obligates the company to provide, and what your obligations will be to them. Don't rely on verbal promises, any changes or promises not included in your contract should be written on your agreement. Your three day cancellation rights and refund policies should be included in your contract.
