BCA's Summary and Analysis:

Most complainants allege security deposits are not refunded if financing cannot be obtained. Others complain there is no way to cancel the transaction once the paperwork has been signed. A few complainants allege they requested to cancel when the company could not obtain financing in accordance with the original terms and payment schedule. One complainant asked for purchase financing, but all paperwork sent by the company was for lease financing. Another complainant alleges the company does not honor the buyout clause of the contract. Most complainants requested refunds and were informed they signed a non-cancelable lease.

The company responds to complaints by explaining they could not obtain funding based on the customer's credit rating, offering alternative funding for lesser amounts or stating customers signed a non-cancellable lease and no refunds are due. The company claims they worked on each complainants file by performing credit checks and locating funding, or stating customers did not cancel until after the funding had been secured and loan documents signed. The company responded to the buyout complaint by explaining that the lease automatically renews for 12 months unless the customer notifies them in writing at least 30 days prior to the expiration of the lease. The company states the customer did not notify them until after the lease had expired and been renewed. A few customers are not satisfied with the company's explanations and the complaints remain unresolved.
