Comments and Analysis

The holding company used by British Capital, Alaron, has been the subject of past regulatory action by the National Futures Association (NFA) based in part on charges the company failed to observe high standards of commercial honor, and equitable trade practices. On December 19, 1999, an NFA Panel Committee accepted a settlement offer made by Alaron which ordered Alaron to temporarily withdraw from NFA membership for a period of two years, 12/02/1999 to 12/02/2001, and operate with restriction on their activities for a period of three years, or until 12/02/2002. The order also accessed penalty fines totaling $20,000. The order was entered without admission of guilt or wrongdoing. We advise careful consideration before making a decision to invest in the currency trading market. Forex investments can be volitile, and are considered high risk investments. Introducing brokers should not make projected profit claims based on actual, or hypothetical performance results. Regardless of past actual, or hypothetical results, the probability that your results will be the same as anyone elses's in actual practice is minimal. There are too many variables in the markets to actually forecast future results for any system, or any trader. For example, even two traders who take identical entry signals simultaneously are likely to have different outcomes depending on slippage, commissions, and other factors beyond their control. Check with the National Futures Association (NFA), the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and your State Securities Administrator to make sure your broker/dealer meets all regulatory requirements. Investigate before you invest!
