Chicagoland Ham

This Business DOES NOT, have Expiration Dates on his products!

I went to Chicagoland Ham, on December 22, 2021, at 8615 S Stony Island, to pick up my reserved Ham, and Rolls, that I preordered. I then bought a sour cream pound cake, I took the cake home, that night, the next morning, on December 23, 2021, I decided to cut a piece of the sour cream pound cake, it was so hard, I threw the piece away. I then. decided to take the cake back to Chicagoland Ham, for a fresh one. I took the Sour cream pound cake, back and, I explained that the cake was stale, or old, but not eatable. I talked to 2 different young cashiers, who explained to me, the cakes, are made daily. All I asked for was a fresh Sour Cream Pound Cake, then the Male Owner, who only heard. what he wanted to hear, and he stated. the cakes are made daily, and they don't freeze, their cakes. I stated, to him that, I never stated, it was frozen, but hard and Stale. The Male Owner, who has all his Employees, scared, to say, anything, stated, just give her, her money back. The Male Owner, then continued, to keep talking to me, Disrespectful, in front of the other Customers. Once, I decided to leave, I told, the Male Owner, I will never come back to his Business. This Business DOES NOT, have Expiration Dates on his products! How do we know, when the cakes or product was made? I decided to try Chicagoland Ham, instead of HoneyBaked Ham, to try to give back to my Community. I brought a Ham, for Thanksgiving, this year, stood in Line for 2 hours, to get my Ham. Very Poorly Run Place!
