To obey all regulations according to health laws. I know we are only veterans but we served country to make all Americans safe and free.

CAAPS is a transitional housing for va vets. In 1.The kitchen they are washing the dishes without sanitizing or even bleach. 2. They are serving food without gloves. 3. No hair nets. 4. example say a carton of milk was not put on ice and if a patient gets milk they take it back if the patient does not want it 5. We eat on plastic trays that have cracks in them. 6. Trays that patients eat out of and they want seconds they take that tray back into the kitchen to put more food on it. 7. In my firm I am over an air conditioner vent and every time it comes on I smell mold or mildew. 8. They keep medicine locked, but they have records of some patients on how much and what kind of medication, but I have been there for a month and the have no sheets on my medication that I am taking. In my room when it rains you can hear the water running in between the walls. So it has to be mold and mildew there. I have been diagnosed with rhinitis and I believe a lot of it is caused due to the unhealthy conditions at CAAPS. In the showers there is black mold looking at the bottom of the curtains. 10. I have running eyes, cough sore throat, and just about everyone there is sick. Every since I have been at CAAP I have had stomach upset diarrhea, bloating. I am positive there are many health violation rules, laws broken, and not up to code there. 11. The concrete on the property is cracked and very rough making it hard for handicapped to walk on. The facility is privately owned & VA funded.
