Description:

On May 19, 2014, the California Department of Business Oversight (“DBO”) filed a Desist and Refrain Order against Colonial Realty Group, Inc. (“CRG”), also doing business as Golden Key Escrow, and against another company sharing a common commerce with CRG. Based on the investigation the DBO determined that they had engaged in acts or practices in violation of the California Corporate Securities Law. The violations include, but were not limited to; engaging in the business of an escrow agent without obtaining a license from the Department of Business Oversight.

The DBO ordered Colonial Realty Group, Inc to desist and refrain from engaging in the escrow business, until proper licensing has been obtained.
