Stop stealing money from their guests.

I'm not looking for any money or reimbursement. I'm filing this complaint because I feel that there are illegal monetary transactions being done at this hotel. All of the days that my boyfriend and I stayed , except one, we paid with my debit card. The last day that we stayed, June 27th, 2020, a 50 dollar charge had appeared on my card that we did not owe the hotel. When I showed the manager of the hotel the charge, an Indian gentleman, he did refund me, but because it was on my debit card, I was told by him and my bank that it would take 3-5 business days to be put back into my account. After this happened, he told us that he would rather us pay with cash. He said that the reason he wanted us to pay the cash was because he didn't want to deal with me coming down and disputing charges. Luckily, we were able to come up with the cash on the 27th to stay one more night at the hotel and gave it to the manager. I asked for a receipt so I had proof of this transaction and he told me that he couldn't print me a receipt until we checked out so I had to wait until the next morning, July 28th. On July 28th, I went down to the front desk and was told by the staff member there that the manager had put in the computer that we had checked out on the 27th. This leads me to believe that the manager pocketed the cash that we paid to stay at the hotel the day of the 27th and he didn't print me the receipt because he didn't want it to show the cash we paid because he stole it. This is not right.
