Description: On April 26, 2000, the Federal Trade Commission filed a complaint in U S District Court, Central Division of California against this company and its principals, Bernard Lewis. The complaint alleged violations of federal laws pertaining to unsubstantiated claims that consumers could earn huge profits with no experience in currency trading; and that misrepresentations were used in testimonials that consumers could reasonably expect to trade with little financial risk. On May 1, 2000, without admitting any wrongdoing, and to settle the suit, the company agreed to discontinue the alleged deceptive practices and is barred from making any false claims concerning little financial risk, or any other unsubstanciated claims of potential profits. The FTC will retain jurisdiction over the matter for a period of 20 years with the Order termininating on May 1, 2020.
