Concentra

The experience at Concentra was very upsetting that my blood pressure was 150/98.

On March 27, 2019 I had an appointment at the Concentra located at 2499 S. Wilmington Avenue, Compton, California 90220. I arrived for my appointment which was scheduled for 1:30 PM. I arrived thirty minutes before my scheduled time of 1:30. The reason why I arrived early was because I had physical therapy at 2:00 in the same office. It was 2:00 and had not been seen by the doctor. I informed the receptionist that I had a 2:00 appointment for physical therapy. She informed me that once I finish with physical therapy to come back to her to let her know I was finished with physical therapy. I returned to the waiting area to see the doctor and the receptionist was at lunch. I arrived back from physical therapy at 2:30 and continued to wait for another hour to be seen by the doctor. The receptionist at physical therapy saw me sitting in the waiting room. She then called me into the examining where I was seen by the nurse, which was only 15 minutes of a wait time. The experience at Concentra was very upsetting that my blood pressure was 150/98. I was at the Compton office from 1:00 to 4:00 (4 hours). They need to re-think their procedures on how to better serve their patients for the future.
