Poor customer service

We got a cash loan through the Cash Store. We set up auto payments to come out on the first of every month. My wife's pay days changed from the 1st to the 16th, so we didn't have the money in our account. We called them up to see what our options were because they were going to pull money out that wasn't there. They told us that the only option was to pay them $109 and they would give us $169 back. I told her I didn't even much. She then told me to borrow money from somebody else. I asked her if there was a way she could stop a payment and just tack on a fee or something and she said no. I told her that the route I was going to have to go then was calling my bank and stopping the payment through them. She told me that she advises against it because I am still going to have to pay it. I told her I don't have a problem paying it...or any fees for an extension or something. I just think it is poor customer service to not have something in place where you can help your customers out. I will never do business with this company again and I will tell everybody I know how unwilling they are to work with their customers.
