Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. If they are considering doing business with the company, consumers can use this indicator to forecast the likelihood of having their issues addressed if a problem arises. CRI measures the company's customer satisfaction abilities through BCA’s complaint mediation process.

A variety of factors are considered when calculating CRI. Complaints allege customer's who agreed to the service on a free trial basis later received dunning communications and collection notices and that the company failed to honor cancellation requests. The invoices were billed for the time consumers thought was free and for additional time when allegedly no service was provided. The company responded to some complaints by denying cancellation requests. The company explained services are initiated immediately and cancellations must be made after receipt and review of the first report or the customer is billed on a month to month basis. The company responded to one complaint by reversing credit card charges and offering one month of service at no charge. The company explained an adjustment was made for another. Some complaints remain unanswered.
