They refused to give me air.

Yes this past Wednesday I pulled in with very low inflation on my tire . I normally frequent this business for household needs. I asked where the air machine was. I went to air machine to find a coin box on it. So I proceeded in store and asked if they would switch the it in And they said No now you must pay for air. So when did this become ok to deny a motorist air? Fortunately I was able to to get a tire shop and bought four new ones. What if I hadn't been so lucky?
