Despicable, unconscionable, lack of care for a professional hospital. I have been in my sisters room for 5 hours and the nurse has yet to make an appearance. Special orders to take her to the bathroom every 2 hours so she does not pee on herself is not done. Requested physical therapy and did not receive until yesterday after 13 days of lying in the bed. This was for an ERCP and a liver biopsy. Even when an order was written for a shower, no shower was given. Recommendation was made for a rehab from someone who in my opinion was not qualified. The physical therapy consisted on a walker (that a mentally challenged person had never used and was not familiar with and a giant walk to the room door and back. I later took my sister down the hall and back just fine. She was supposed to be discharged yesterday but one of the 5 doctors could not make it so now we are on 14 days in the hospital. One day will be declined for payment. If you want to die in a hospital then go to Del Ray Medical.
