I visited the Dillards in Baybrook Mall and was verbally assaulted by an employee at the Clinique make up counter, I think her name was Leslie. I purchased make up from Clinique on Monday, September 5, I asked the young lady if the color didn't match would I be able to return the product, and she said yes. Today I visited that store and she assisted me, she was clearly aggravated that I was returning the make up, and bluntly told me I cannot get any money back she would only give me a gift card, then asked me was that OK. I told her no because that's not what she explained to me when I purchased the make up. She said she would have to call a manager but the manager will also tell me the same thing, so I told her to call the manager. The manager approve the refund. I advise the associate that she should provide customers with the correct information to avoid any inconvenience. Then she got smart with me telling me that that's why my make up is ugly and it's too light on my face. I felt as though she was racially discriminating against me.
