Comments and Analysis

We rate this company as having an unsatisfactory business performance record. This company advertises in the employment sections of newspapers nationwide for installers and technicians. Earnings claims are $1000.00 a week, and no experience necessary, full or part time. Respondents are offered a business opportunity which, according to the company, includes training and a lease agreement for computer equipment, software, installation tools and an alarm system for personal use. The company requires an initial payment for training of $5000.00. Complaints allege the company failed to provide installation leads as promised. They state that they were stuck with leases for personal computers costing approximately $4,000. The company responded to the one complaint by stating the customer was an independent contractor and was therefore responsible for all of his own sales. The company did not address the allegations that they failed to provide leads. They refused to make any adjustment. Other complaints remain unanswered. When considering any business opportunity, we suggest you carefully review the offer, background information on the company, its principals and officers and the contract if your are required to sign one. Obtain written clarification of all verbal promises and any unclear issues. Insist that the company prove any earnings claims to your satisfaction. Verify that the company has met any registration or licensing requirements in your state. In California, if a company charges more than a $500.00 investment the company may be required to register with the California Attorney General. You may choose to verify registration requirements as a Seller Assisted Marketing Plan by calling 619 645-2001. Before making a decision, consult a trusted business advisor.
