Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. Equiptool charged my credit card, but never shipped the item

My credit card was charged immediately after ordering a $1749 lift. The item never shipped as promised. I never received a call or a note from Equip Tool explaining why. I called regularly to check on my order status, and was repeatedly told the item was back ordered. After four months, I finally requested cancellation of my order and a refund. No refund ever arrived. Equip Tool stopped answering my calls. I filed a complaint with the California AG’s office. When I was finally able to speak with Gerry again by phone, he said he would withhold my refund until I formally withdrew my complaint. Then he hung up on me. Be warned, Equip Tool is not an honest business.
