This company is not a lender; nor is it licensed to engage in any lending activities, it has not registered with the California Attorney General or posted the required $100,000 bond. In August 1994, the firm claimed it is exempt from California licensing requirements since business is conducted primarily out of state. Even if licensed, it would be unlawful to collect fees before promised services were performed. The firm was previously known as Nationwide Financial Services, which also had an unsatisfactory business performance record. Our complaint history shows complaint allegations similar to Express. The company did not respond. In addtion, the firm failed to provide requested verification of claims of high risk lenders, bad credit no credit OK, and that any loans were made through its efforts. In November 1994, all phones for NFS were disconnected. Mail was returned as "undeliverable and/or refused" Express also appears to be making a homework offer making anti theft alarm stickers. A $45 fee is required. The company failed to provide requested information about this money making offer. We urge extreme caution. Of the numerous work at home offers in our files, not one would or could substantiate earnings claims made in advertisements.
