Everyone says shop local during this pandemic. Ok, so I send my daughter to FRESHTOWN in Amenia to get some stuff to hold us over . Now mind you the prices are 3x the amount of most stores normally. But I am willing to spend that so I don't have to drive far and be out for a long period of time and I am trying to support local . She calls me from the store and says they won't honor the sale prices for this weeks flyer . They raised all there prices back to normal prices . I call the store and the person who answers the phone tells me they will not honor this sale(which mind you today is the last day of it)and they will not have any sales for the next three weeks !! I don't know about anyone else but o me this is absolutely unacceptable ! Isn't this price gouging in some form ???? She proceeds to tell me Any complaints should be brought to the attention of the general manager who will be there tomorrow until 4 ! Bet your a** I'm calling tomorrow and I hope more people do too !
