FutureVision Property Management

I had attempted to rent a home in Bolingbrook, IL. I spoke with the owner a very nice woman and at the end of the conversation she would rent the home to me. We had spoken about certain details including me having a dog. She was all for it. She makes me aware that she had signed a contract with future vision property management for the rental and I would have to fill the application out through them as a formality. I filled everything out and sent all proof of income, which exceeds the 3x the monthly rent rule. Mind you the rent is only 1700.00. When I finally get a call back from Matt with Future Vision Property management he tells me that her first concern was my income when I point out I exceed that he then says well her real problem is my dog although once again her and I have spoken on it. I then hang up with Matt and call the owner and found out that Matt lied about my application as well as the type of dog I have, which I put on the application and spoke to the owner about. The owner also states she didn't have any concerns until he began to lie. The owner made me aware that she had just signed with Matt to list the house for sale the day before even though he knew she had someone waiting to rent. Due to this huge disappointment it caused me to miss out on several other houses to rent and has now rendered me homeless as I have to be out of my house with two children cause my lease is up and my landlord is unmoving. His practices should be investigated cause what he did was rent control/red lining. He attempted to steer me in another direction far from where I wanted to be also considerably farther from my daughters current school district and a home ?? that does not meet my needs paying 1450.00 a month when I can well afford what I want and require.
