Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. Complainants allege after ordering videos from the company they later receive more movies that are not ordered. Customers claim they are enrolled without their knowledge or consent in a membership program that automatically sends new movies and tapes and every month and automatically charges their cards. Many customers state that the website did not inform them of this automatic renewal program and despite repeated cancellation requests the company continues to ship movies and charge their accounts. Some complain they experience difficulty cancelling orders and that they must pay shipping and handling charges for merchandise that was not ordered. In other cases customers complain they receive no delivery at all but their credit cards are still charged. ~~The company responds to some complaints by issuing credits or refunds as requested. Other complaints regarding delivery issues are addressed by shipping orders. Some complainants are not satisfied with the company's responses and contend they should not have to pay shipping or return shipping on something they did not order to begin with. Allegations of unauthorized charges are generally not addressed.
