The company is using deceptive sales practices to promote the sale of golf clubs. This company solicits golf enthusiasts offering golf clubs on a trial basis, at no cost or obligation. Customers are asked to pay a deposit by credit card to guarantee that they will return the clubs after the 90 day trial period. By law, consumers have 60 days from the billing date to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Visa has a 120 day period. After the 60-day period, a charge cannot be reversed unless the seller consents. If the order is canceled, we suggest that the product be returned in sufficient time to permit a credit card dispute to be filed.
