Dr Dunstan attempted to charge me for services that were already covered under my dental insurance policy. I asked how much did I owe she stated extraction will be about $200.00 . That did not include $40.00 I had just paid. Then I asked what about my insurance. She showed me a fax paper that had "not covered" listings from top to bottom. She told me I was not covered. After looking at the x rays she took, she said she could perform the tooth extraction tge nex day. I called my insurance co . When I confronted her with insurance verification of what I was to pay which was copay only $30 or $60 depending on procedure. She said I had to go to a surgeon. Then she added she owe me a refund. I had paid her $40.00 for that day. I caught this woman in a lie. The Dental Association needs to check into her records because she tried to get me to pay for something that was already covered by my insurance co. She said my insurance didn't cover the procedure. After speaking to my insurance co they said I was covered. it's very likely if I had payed her she would still bill my insurance co. And by doing this she would have been paid twice. I wonder how many other people she has lied to. She must con people to double her earnings? She needs to be investigated. She is going to give me $19.00. out of my $40.00. I will not be going back to her. I just had to complain about what she tried to do to me
