Poor experience

Several things happened throughout the course of working with this funeral home. 1. My parents prepaid what they thought were all expenses only to learn that my dad owed an additional $2500 when making arrangements for my mother after her passing. It was later learned that the interest earned could have covered this but J&G chose to not to operate on behalf of the family. 2. We asked for donation envelopes at the visitation. They had them but did not place them where people could readily see them. 3. J&G brought my mother to the church late and without proper equipment to move or place the casket. 4. At the cemetery, we were rushed through the service because we were not at my mother's grave site. Due to snow, they had us in a "temporary" spot when they could have used their equipment to make way to her final resting place. They caused so much confusion at each step. The grave marker was not placed more than a week later. 5. The final disrespect was that they did not complete the death certificate correctly! They prepared it with my LIVING father's name. Their lack of professionalism caused undue stress and distress on my father and the rest of our family. It was literally comedy of errors that was not in any way funny! My poor mother, may she now be at peace because she was not during her funeral!
