I was rear-ended by a driver with Kemper insurance on the morning of 7/12/24. The drivers insurance card was out of date so I'm not sure if they have insurance. I filed a claim and was appointed Patricia Rosales as my adjuster. She did call me but would not give me any details on how to proceed or even if the other driver had valid insurance. I cannot get Patricia or her supervisor Amy Doyle to respond to my repeated phone calls. I have no idea if Kemper is going to cover my medical, rental car, or to fix my car and I'm not getting any assistance with my claim. Resolution Sought Have someone at Kemper actually do their job

To Whom it May Concern, Infinity County Mutual Insurance Company is in receipt of the complaint from Business Consumer Alliance dated July 17, 2024. The complaint was filed by the claimant, Mr. Sides, four days after the loss. The claim was reported to us on July 12, 2024 by the claimant, Mr. Sides. A statement was obtained from Mr. Sides on July 12, 2024. We attempted to contact our insured on July 12, 2024 via phone, text, and mail. We also contacted our insured's agent for assistance with contacting our insured. Estimates were requested for both the insured and claimant vehicle's that day, as well. Estimates were completed on July 15, 2024. On July 15, 2024, Mr. Sides called in and requested an update. The adjuster explained that we were still pending a statement from our insured before we could move forward with our handling. The adjuster explained that Mr. Sides can file with his carrier for immediate assistance while we continue to investigate our coverage and liability, or he may wait for our investigation to conclude. Mr. Sides expressed his displeasure with these options to the adjuster and the call was terminated. On July 24, 2024, we obtained a statement from our insured. Based on this statement, we were able to clear coverage and confirm liability. Payment was issued to Mr. Sides in the amount of $1,083.04 for his vehicle damages. A voicemail was left for Mr. Sides on July 24, 2024, advising that the investigation concluded, and payment was issued. We trust the information contained in this letter is useful and confirms that the complaint has been thoroughly reviewed. The Company is here to assist with any questions you may have. Sincerely, Regulatory Administration Infinity County Mutual Insurance Company - A Kemper Company
