This carwash steals the tips from its workers!!!

Customers don't realize: the workers here will NEVER receive your tip. I'm a customer. I just found out about this, and BCA bans comments from "employees" who have NO protection and NO VOICE?!? That isn't fair. BCA is contributing to that with this policy. No wonder his business is not on Yelp! This owner immediately takes ANY and ALL tips for himself, and he only pays his employees $70 for an ENTIRE 12 HOUR DAY. Can you believe that??? That. Is. Disgusting. My friend worked there...until yesterday, because today he is sick from his shift. During yesterday's 12 hour shift, working hard labor outside in the 90 degree heat, he did two detailing jobs. One gave him a $40 tip and another gave him $30. AND WHAT DID THE OWNER DO??? HE TOOK THE TIPS DIRECTLY FROM HIM AND PUT THEM RIGHT INTO HIS OWN POCKET. Yep. Those TWO TIPS equal what he gets paid for an ENTIRE day's work. That is a "tips based" job, same as a restaurant/valet. If it is NOT TIPS BASED, tips should NOT be encouraged. It should be clarified to the customer: workers WILL NOT receive your tip. When a customer chooses to tip, they think their $$ is going to the worker. Not directly to some jerk in the office. I find this not only to be greedy and gross, but an extremely misleading business practice. He hires workers that can't speak English very well, don't understand what they are entitled to, or can't find other work. And if they don't like that he takes their tips? They can leave or be removed from the schedule. They work with heavy chemicals. It is very hot, extremely hard manual labor. He does not provide them with gloves, masks or ANY safety measures. My friend is sick from breathing the chemicals in the heat. He said a lot of people get sick in there. If the workers want gloves or masks, they are told they can "get and pay for it themselves". Oh ok, out of the "pocket change" he is paying them? He ABSOLUTELY knows he is taking advantage of people who can't defend themselves, and he SHOULD be paying for their basic safety. People are suffering because they need to work to support themselves and their families, and he won't even allow them a living wage. One that they would SO EASILY HAVE, if he let them keep THEIR OWN TIPS. He is filling his pockets riding the backs of laborers and poor people who don't have a voice. I am horrified at the contempt and severe disgusting greed of this person. He should be ashamed. But obviously he doesn't care about people. His only interest is to use them, steal their money, and pay them pennies, while he keeps the majority of the money for himself. Do NOT frequent this business. Or if you do, DEMAND that your tip goes to THE PERSON who does your car. But I am willing to bet, as soon as you drive away, he goes to that worker with his hand out, and demands that tip for his own pocket. This is nothing but pure disgusting greed. I will be asking at all car washes from now forward if it is the worker who will receive my tip. If not, I will leave.
