Worst Management Company

I lived in the Shangri-La Apartments in Sherman Oaks, for over 12 years. The person managing the building is a jerk and barely does anything. The bookkeeper at the office, has harassed me at least 3 times about my rent, when they had already cashed my check and the manager threatening to evict me if I didnt pay, 3 days after rent is due and they already had my check. I moved out March 30 2024 and I still have not seen my security deposit . They originally sent me partial payment (after the 21 days by law) with a list of made up charges and no receipts to back it up, when I wrote them (because thats how they prefer of course) and then I called them, they all of a sudden were writing my full check to mail. I am still waiting for it, and they said they do not use FedEx because they charge the person who they are sending it to. Then all of a sudden after so many calls from me and complaints about my deposit, now she will send it FedEx with no charge to me. I am still waiting for her to stroll in the office like around 10.30a-11a according to the admin, so I can get my check reprinted and FedEx'd to me. They are horrible and have a 1 star in Yelp from over 60 reviews
