Marriott Vacation Club preys on consumers
The only reason for giving a one-star rating is that you cannot give zero-stars which is my actual rating. Marriott Vacation Club sales agents use high pressure sales tactics and outright lies to make the sale. They have no regard for consumer complaints and only suggest to "solve" your issues by selling you more worthless timeshare points. When fully paid off, the annual maintenance fees continue to increase and there is no buy back value for this "valuable investment" that you got suckered into purchasing. In other words, the value of your investment is zero, nil, nada, nothing. I would never recommend Marriott Vacation Club to even my worst enemy. MVC sales agents talk about this "valuable investment" and how great it will be to "own your vacation" for now and the future. Take my advice and skip the ownership and use short term rentals and hotel deals to take your vacation without a never ending cycle of ever-increasing annual maintenance fees.
