Be honest. Don't Bait and Switch. BBB should drop their approval.

On Sept. 15, we contacted by telephone Mile High Services following receiving an advertisement by mail for 40 off of cleaning services of 10 ducts in the house. An appointment was set up for Sept 19th AM. The evening of Sept 18th I received a phone call to prepay, by credit card, the invoice sent via email from Miles High Services. It stated 10 ducts to be cleaned for $79.00, I gave the caller my credit card number for the full payment of $79. Shortly afterwards I received, by email, the paid receipt for the $79 charge. Sept 19 at 8:10 we received a call from the Mile High that a worker would arrive, he did about 10 minutes later. His name was Dreg Russell. He and my husband inspected the outlets and the furnace. When finished my husband, Joel, gave me a copy of the charges. I protested the charge of $319 for more work than agreed upon and said that we had a receipt of the $79 agreement. I was livid as I've been victim of Bait and Switch by devious services before.. I am 87 and in a wheelchair, a perfect victim. I called the 'boss', Crystal and confronted her on this sleazy business practice. She seemed somewhat confused and said that "I should never have received a receipt for the prepaid services." My husband didn't want Dreg to leave without doing something, so Dreg cleaned out the main vent. I apologized to Crystal for losing my cool. But later I decided to file a complaint as I knew this company was going to continue to Bait and Switch with other victim.
