Military Exits

This company claims to provide employment assistance for military personnel who are exiting military service. The company's services are free to job seekers, providing resume and profile templates, and job listings which are paid for and posted by potential employers. On July 16, 2004, in order to verify the validity or integrity of this company, and the industry in general, our office contacted a U S Marine Corp. public affiars spokesperson. According to the Officer, there are many such companies who advertise in various military newsletters acting as head hunters to recruit exiting military personnel for specialty, security or technical related employment opportunities. In most cases, potential employers might have a hard time finding non-military personnel with previous experience in these specific fields, or applicants who would otherwise qualify. For instance, it might be difficult to find and hire an air traffic controller with past experience, however, those exiting military services may have valuable working experience in this field which could be applied to a non-military employment opportunity.
