While offers may vary somewhat, the vast majority end up with the same complaint history. In the case of envelope stuffing offers, respondants report receiving instructions for placing ads and stuffing envelopes with similar instructions. Participants risk investigations by Postal Authorities for fraud. Typically, the only one profiting from work at home offers is the company itself. Of the hundreds of work at home companies in our files, not one ever proved the earnings claims it made in its advertising or promotional literature.
