The company advertises employment in the help wanted section of newspapers. They are not hiring anyone, but instead are selling a computer program for $299 which does medical billing. Accordingly, we consider the advertising to deceptive and misleading. As of 02/24/99, our office received reports that this firm has established an 800 number which is being answered Better Business Bureau of Southern California. This report was verified by BBB personnel on 02/24/99. This phone number has no affiliation with any authentic Better Business Bureau. Any information diseminated from the number or it's owners should be considered fraudulent. This act of falsely identifying themselves as a Better Business Bureau is a violation of the California Business & Professions codes. On July 21, 1999 mail sent to the company was returned by the Post Office marked, Refused by the mail receiving agency.
