I had a fire in June of 2023, I am covered with Nationwide for home and auto insurance. They sent me to a hotel for about a month, then we found a home to stay in and covered the cost with the money from my coverage while they were working on my home. They told us we had to leave the house because they would only cover for 2 years. But my house still is not repaired. As of today my home is still not complete, my bathroom, flooring, roof and painting need to be completed. They put money into my account, but did not tell me what it was for, it was for the repairs of the home, I was using the money that I thought was mine to buy food and pay for storage for my belongings. They stopped fixing my home, but are still charging me for coverage. They stated it was taking so long because they were waiting on permits, but it has been more than 2 years. Resolution Sought To finish the repairs on my house.

May 11th 2024 about 11:45 pm or so, I woke up to a lot of noise outside of my boat at Sunset Bay Marina. I came up stairs to see what was going just find out another boat was on fire and coming directly at my boat. Later I found out the boat caught fire a few slips down from me burned two other boats and launched itself by burning the tie ropes that was holding it to the dock. The noise was coming from three fire department trucks and the police. Who were all telling me to get off of my boat because the boat that was on fire was only about 30 or so feet from my boat. I did but the fire department couldn't get close enough to put the fire out because Sunset Marina had a gate locked so they tried by running hoses connected together up my dock towards the water to where the boat was on fire. They spread and spread but it didn't do any good because of the distance. They hopped on the back of my boat (swim platform) and the boat next to me trying to control the boat with long hook sticks. It was then determined by the fire department that I had to move to get the boat that was on fire in my boat slip so that it would be a lot closer. I did move but my boat took on a lot of damage , burning my back enclosure my swim platform, my backseats and my side panel. I was told by the marina that they would take care of everything. My wife and I waited and waited mind you this happened May 11th 2024 . Now they are saying their not responsible. Resolution Sought Is to have our boat repaired . We had nothing to do with this in fact had I not been there to move my boat , other boat would of surely burnt down.
