Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. This company solicits advertising in a Yellow Page Directory publication by sending out solicitation notices to businesses cleverly designed to look like checks or invoices for authorized or past services. If the recipient endorses the check for deposit they are endorseing their authorization for a directory listing as well. We believe these marketing practices are deceptive and misleading.~~Should you receive similar invoices write the company to insist upon proof of the order or release from all liability. If the company should indicate this is a solicitation present the invoice and company's comments to your nearest Postal Inspector. State and Federal law requires any solicitation in the guise of invoice to warn recipients that it is not a bill but a solicitation and that there is no obligation to pay. This warning must be in 10 point type an d in red ink.
