Description:

On February 13, 2014, the Bureau of Real Estate (“BRE”) filed a Desist and Refrain Order against Operation Reach 1, Inc. (“OR1”). Based on their investigation, the BRE determined that OR1, acting by itself or through one or more agents, associates, affiliates, and/or co-conspirators, had engaged in acts or practices in violation of California Business and Professions Code. The violations include but were not limited to: acting, advertising, and/or soliciting as a real estate broker by performing services for borrowers in connection with loans secured by real property; and claiming, collecting or receiving advance fees for performing the services.

According to the Order, OR1 was not licensed to perform real estate broker services. The Desist and Refrain Order prohibits OR1, whether doing business under its own name or any other names, from performing services for borrowers in connection with loans secured by real property; and charging, demanding, claiming, collecting, or receiving advance fees for any real estate related services.
