Some complainants allege items or installations advertised as "free" were not free due to conditions which were not disclosed in their advertising. Other customers complain of price gouging bait and switch tactics misleading advertisements and misrepresentations made by salespersons. In some cases merchandise selected for purchase by the customer was replaced with a different non-brand name equipment without the customer's authorization. One customer alleges he was sold a system then advised he needed additional parts costing $250.00. The customer claims he found out later he could have purchased the additional parts at a local store for $90.00. Other complainants allege salespersons fail to advise customers of their no refund policy until problems occur and refunds are requested. In cases of defective merchandise many complain the company refuses to exchange the item or charges the customer for sending the item to a repair center. The company responds to some complaints by disputing the allegations or by offering explanations and clarifications of their policies. In some cases the company offered to exchange the item in question. Some complaints are closed as unresolved meaning the complainants are not satisfied with the company's response. Other complaints remain unanswered.
