So my fridge went out the other day and I looked on YouTube found out a certain part usually goes out and it might be that. So I went to this place and he tried to charge me $179 for the part when I asked him are there any refunds he said no because it's an electronic part and he would not be able to sell it as new. So I then asked how much is a service call to come out and check he said $269 and then I will have to pay for the part on top of that. Then he stated 99 of the time it's this part that goes out which a lot of people on YouTube also said the same thing but I said what if it's not and there's no refunds then what and he just Shrugged meaning I would be out of $179. So I was going to look and see if there's any other appliance parts stores in Brooklyn that I can check before I dish out $179 and as I was looking I found one and my phone died. I then went to that place and they were closed I went home plug my phone up and look for the part online to which I was surprised to see the highest price for that part was $53 others had it listed for $10, $15 and $18. I ordered one with expedited 2 day shipping for an extra $10 and if it was not that piece I could send it back free shipping and only be out $10 the expedited shipping that I paid which turns out it was not that part that was malfunctioning and instead of being out $179 I'm only out &10 because I didn't spend with this overpriced store. Other Google reviews state the same thing and worse because they got charged
