Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. This company claims to offer submission services for clients. In theory, submission services send photos and model profiles on behalf of models or actors, to casting directors, agents, or other industry officials to provide industry exposure for employment purposes. Laws for this industry require any business entity who arranges, procures, or provides assistance with finding work to be registered as an "advance fee talent service," and obtain an agency license.

We believe this company should be required to post a $10,000 bond and register with the Industrial Relations Board as an advance fee talent service. As of our last verification, on September 15, 2004 the company was not licensed as a talent agency.

In California, you have 10 days to cancel talent contracts without penalty or obligation. In some cases, refunds must be provided within 48 hours, or the company is required to pay the artist an additional sum equal to the original amount of the fee. Cancellation procedures are required by law to be outlined in your contract. These services are also prohibited from making direct referrals for photography services, or utilizing in house photo services.
