Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) Explained The Complaint Resolution Index (CRI) is an indicator on how responsive a company is in addressing and resolving customer complaints brought to their attention by BCA. The California Department of Real Estate (DRE) requires all pre-paid rental list companies (PPRLC's) to obtain licensing and post a $2,500 bond for each of it's locations. As of our last verification on August 16, 2004 this company had not complied with State registration requirements. Operating without meeting the DRE's licensing requirements is a violation of the law. For the most up to date licensing information, you may contact the DRE at, (213) 620-2072, or visit their website at www.dre.ca.gov. Our experience with similar offers has shown that rental lists are usually comprised of various ads which are printed in local newspapers or periodicals. Generally PPRLC's have no exclusive agreements with landlords, and can make no guarantees you will find a rental. They sell information only. Read and understand the terms of the agreement before signing. Make sure to ask about refund policies. In all cases, refunds are difficult to obtain in spite of promises to the contrary.
