I signed a contract with one 800 pack rat for a long distance move. They also charge your storage monthly until the move is made due to unemployment and not able to get a job in my new city. I was not able to pay the monthly storage fees I called three times to see if my deposit could go towards my monthly payment that would allow me to catch up, but they said they could not call mingle the funds. The loan distance deposit was different from the monthly storage. My stuff was auction on March 4 and I called the long distance service to get my refund on my long distance move. They indicated that they had to keep the deposit because I owe pack rat, but they weren't willing to let me use it to pay the storage but they kept my deposit For the loan move, I no longer have anything to move long distance because they auction my pod. I feel this is not a best practice. They wanted to be a win-win situation on their end and not for the consumer. I would never recommend this company to anyone and I would never use them again. Resolution Sought I want my refund on my loan distance move since I no longer have anything to move long distance.
