I signed on line with a warranty company for my car on April 5th. I was told about a waiting period before it would be activated. I was told by Matthew Brishler that I can pay an extra fee of 5 dollars per month to wave the waiting period and have immediate coverage. I brought my car to Chapman Hyundai on Bell Rd. for a noise I was hearing under the hood, and left it there with Joe in service. He called me Saturday and said a fan in the engine was going out, and my warranty declined to pay because the waiting period was not met u til August. I explained to him that I had been paying to eliminate the waiting period. They concluded I was correct, but came up with several invalid reasons to still deny me. They said that they would have to talk to Admin about this on Monday. I called around 9am Monday and spoke to someone named Henry. He said that they already spoke to Admin today and denied it again and would not tell me why, other than warranty was not valid u til August sometime. On Saturday they admitted that it Was covered, but that I put 2000 miles on it in 2 days! I said not possible. They would not say where they got this information from. But when I called Monday the reason reverted back to the original claim of not meeting the time frame or the mileage wasn't met. These guys are a scam! Also, I have requested at least 10 times to receive a hard copy of my warranty. They claim they did send it but I never received it. Please help me. Resolution Sought If they won't pay for the repair and for a rental vehicle, I want ALL my money back from April 5 through today. If you can get them to pay, I will end my business with them after the payment is approved and not 1 day more. Please help me. I am on disability and can not handle this fraudulent behavior. Nor can afford a lawyer.
