I hired 2 brothers chimney services to clean and inspect our chimney on 1-19-2024. the technician was there 30 minutes said he cleaned and sealed the chimney. When I questioned his method of sealing the fireplace/ chimney he said he applied a dry concrete ready mix to his brush the same brush he cleaned the chimney with brushit in and it would seal the chimney. I disputed his method of sealing my chimney when I told him that would not work and it didn't make sense he immediately discounted the services from $374 to $234 his response was (I sealed it but you don't want to pay.) He continued on to say it was sealed and would be ready to use in 24 hours once it dried. I once again asked him how that would dry if it was already a dry powder mix . He replied I don't know ,that is how the company tells us to do it. I have called the company to rectify the situation and get a refund not once have I received a call back and now my number is blocked and the technician says call the company. They did not care for the blaiten disregard for the safety of my home my family or my life. I have pictures to show the chimney is still not in a condition to use it. I texted him The following Monday and his response is I sealed and cleaned your fireplace. Call the company if you have a problem. Resolution Sought Give me a refund, the work that I was charged for was not done.
